Activities
Hexham Community Association brings together the residents from the Hexham Estate and North Whitley area, with charities and the local authority to work together to help to improve education and employment opportunities and carry out activities for the welfare and leisure of the people who live in the local area and its neighbourhoods.
Objects: 1) Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit Without Distinction, By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants.2) Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage The Same Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Another Organisation In Furtherance Of The Above Objects. 3) For Such Charitable Purposes As May Be Decided From Time To Time.
