Challenges
-
The Association is still functioning under a reduced budget of £10,000 from the Council
-
The Association Still struggled to recruit volunteers. This has had an impact on the extent to which the programmes can be extended to many more residents.
-
Bookings for use of facilities at the Community Centre has decreased considerably compared to the previous year. This has been due to complaints from the neighbours’ about
noise. This has been resolved through the intervention of the council. We now have a better customer services approach, better facilities and a very clean environment.
The trustees want to also take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers for the wonderful job they have done over the year.
