The aim of this group is to improve the quality of life for people in food crisis in the Nuncargate, Kirkby Woodhouse, Annesley, Annesley Woodhouse and Newstead areas in particular but not exclusively by providing emergency food supplies to individuals and families in need and where appropriate signposting service users to other appropriate agencies, services or charities.

Objects: The Aim Of This Group Is To Improve The Quality Of Life For People In Food Crisis And Volunteers Who Wish To Enhance Their Lives Through The Giving Of Their Time And Talents In The Nuncargate, Kirkby Woodhouse, Annesley, Annesley Woodhouse And Newstead Areas Through:the Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty In The Nuncargate, Kirkby Woodhouse, Annesley, Annesley Woodhouse And Newstead Areas In Particular But Not Exclusively By Providing Emergency Food Supplies To Individuals And Families In Need And Where Appropriate Signposting Service Users To Other Appropriate Agencies, Services Or Charities E.g. Citizens’ Advice Bureau, Housing Department, Social Services, Age Concern, Sure Start, Probation Service Etc.
