Objects: The Objects Of The CIO, To Be Carried Out For The Public Benefit Throughout England, Are: 1) To Promote The Prevention Of Crime And The Saving Of Lives By Advancing Education In And Raising Awareness Of Knife Crime Through School-Based Interventions And Workshops That Outline The Dangers And Consequences Of Knife Crime And The Provision Of Support To Professionals In Particular, But Not Exclusively, Teachers And Youth Workers To Enable A Greater Understanding Of The Effects Of Knife Crime And The Negative Impact On Those Affected By IT; 2) To Advance In Life Help And Relieve The Needs Of Young People Through The Provision Of Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals, Particularly Where That Relates To Exploring Issues Around Self-Esteem, Peer Pressure, Making Choices And Promoting Personal Safety And Responsibility.
