Activities
Our mission is to put the voice of Tower Hamlets patients, carers, users and the local community at the centre of service planning, design and delivery. We give residents a stake in the local health and social care landscape to improve the health and well-being of the Borough. We support residents to navigate health and social care services and understand their journey.
Objects: The objects of the charity are for the advancement of health and relief of those in need in England including by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability or financial hardship by: (1) Making the views and experiences of members of the general public known to public service providers, including those in health and social care; (2) Enabling local people to have a voice in the development, delivery and equality of access to local public services and facilities, including those in health and social care; (3) Providing training and the development of skills for volunteers and the wider community in understanding, scrutinising, reviewing and monitoring local public services and facilities, including those in health and social care; (4) Undertaking research relating to the commissioning and provision of health, social care and other public services to promote good practice. (5) Providing information to the general public about local health and social care services.
