Activities

Hiring rooms to 70+ organisations, for educational, recreational and social activities. Organising events and activities including visits to properties, gardens, museums, galleries and concerts. Lectures, coffee mornings, indoor games and a library are provided. For younger residents awards are made for educational purposes including participation in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

Objects: (A) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Ofthe Town Of Leatherhead And Its Surrounding Districts (Defined As The Area Of Authority Of The Mole Valley District Council Or Any Successor Body, Together With Any Other Area Within 6 Miles Of The Charity's Registered Office And Hereinafter Called The "Area Of Benefit") Without Distinction Of Gender, Sexual Orientation, Age, Disability, Nationality, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Statutory Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions In Life For The Said Inhabitants; (B) To Establish, Or Secure The Establishment Of, A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage The Same (Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Statutory Authority Or Any Other Person Or Body) In Furtherance Of The Objects; (C) To Promote Such Other Charitable Purposes Within The Area Of Benefit As May From Time To Time Be Determined
