Home-Start Newark offers a simple preventative service to families under pressure who have at least one child under 5 years old. We offer support in the home by volunteers who are all parents themselves, offering friendship,practical help and a much needed listening ear. Helping parents by reducing isolation, building confidence and theirfore increasing the well-being of children

Objects: A) To Safeguard, Protect And Preserve The Good Health, Both Mental And Physical Of Children And Parents Of Children;b) To Prevent Cruelty To Or Maltreatment Of Children;c) To Relieve Sickness, Poverty And Need Amongst Children And Parents Of Children;d) To Promote The Education Of The Public In Better Standards Of Child Carewithin The Area Of Newark And Its Environs.
