This charity was set up in memory of Kirsty Maxwell whose life tragically ended in unexplained suspicious circumstances whilst was on holiday in Benidorm, Spain on 29th April 2017. Kirsty’s family have had to (and continue to) campaign and fight for truth, answers and progress regarding the loss of Kirsty. We hope that some good can from the tragic loss of Kirsty with our charity by being able to support other families unfortunate to find themselves in similar terrible circumstances as we are. No family should ever have to experience what we have had to deal with however sadly it will happen again to others and we hope that what we have learned can be used to offer assistance, advice and support for other families having to deal with a death abroad. •Help, Advise and Sign- Post you to what you need to do •Put you in touch with the relevant expertise •Advise you regarding fund raising •Share our experiences and provide empathetic sincere advice.

Objectives: 4 The organisations purposes are the advancement of health and wellbeing, and the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, by providing support and assistance to those primarily from Scotland but also those from other parts of the UK who suffer a bereavement in respect of a death that occurred outwith the UK. and (without prejudice to that generality) in particular by: 4.1 The provision of assistance in accessing counselling and support services, and any other practical support, for individuals and families affected by the death of someone who died outwith the UK. 4.2 The provision of support (financial or otherwise), and assistance in accessing such support provided by others, to individuals and families in respect of the practical arrangements for funerals (including, if appropriate, returning the deceased to their home country) of those who have died outwith the UK. 4.3 The provision of support (financial or otherwise), and assistance in accessing such support provided by others, to individuals and families in respect of the investigation of, or any criminal or civil proceedings in respect of, a death that occurred outwith the UK (whether any such investigation or proceedings takes place in the UK or elsewhere).
