Ladywell Playgroup offers pre-school maximum 15 2-3yr old children the chance to attend 5 sessions per week. The children are learning new skills and knowledge through various play sessions and activities. The playgroup has 2 members of paid staff and 1 volunteer. We charge a weekly fee and raise funds through various events and activities to enable us to provide new resources and experiences for the children. We have 4 Trustees who oversee the running of the playgroup with the help of other parents who volunteer at events and activities.

Objectives: The aim of the Playgroup is to promote the aim of the Scottish Pre-School Play Association which is to advance the education of pre-school children so that they may take a constructive place in the community, and also the education of their paretns and other adults, children and teenagers, and in the furtherance of that aim (a) to provide safe and satisfying group play in which parents take part when appropriate (b) to encourage other charitable activities through which parents may help the children.
