Objectives: To promote the welfare ofelderly people in Woodland/Park area of Glasgow by associating the local statutory authorities, and voluntary organisations in a common effort to advance education, further health, relieve poverty and in the interest of social welfare, provide facilities for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that the conditions of life of the aforementioned elderly people may be improved.
