The Company was founded on 4th October 1883 by William (later Sir William) Alexander Smith. The Company continues to operate today as part of a global Boys’ Brigade organisation. The Company’s aim is the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness. The Company operates from Kelvin West Parish Church, 77 Southpark Ave, Glasgow G12 8LE. It meets on a Friday evening for all section meetings.

Objectives: The Object of the Brigade shall be the advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Boys, and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect, and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness
