Financial Year Ending 31[st] August 2025

1. The Company was founded on 4[th] October 1883 by William (later Sir William) Alexander Smith. The Company continues to operate today as part of a global Boys’ Brigade organisation.

2. The Company’s aim is the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.

3. The Company operates from Kelvin West Parish Church, 77 Southpark Ave, Glasgow G12 8LE. It meets on a Friday evening for all section meetings.

4. The Company has a value of £4516 (2024 £6497) and in the course of the year income of £7192 (2024 £9684) was received and expenditure of £9172 (2024 £8044) incurred in pursuit of the objective.

5. The Company has a number of volunteer Officers, Instructors and Helpers, all of whom are registered with the Boys’ Brigade UK and operate in full compliance with Disclosure (Scotland) Regulations where applicable.

The accounts have been prepared on a Receipts and Payments basis in accordance with the Charities & Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005) and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 ( as amended ).

The Company has no employees, no member of Company staff receives any remuneration and no commitments have been given.
