How do we do this? We bring joy through an inspirational programme of visual art, design, live music, clubs, fashion, food, entertainment, and nature, designed for everyone. We change places by revitalising the urban landscape with cultural spaces, amenities, and public art, enhancing Glasgow’s international status and the lived experience of its people. We create chances for anyone to be creative, build skills, create networks, grow businesses, experiment, and innovate. Activities undertaken to achieve objectives We have consolidated our activities into the following areas

Objectives: To advance education, the arts, heritage and culture through promotion of the arts, and in particular by (a) The provision of affordable and accessible studios, exhibition spaces, performance venues, and other facilities for local and international artists and organisations working in the arts and creative sector in Glasgow and beyond. (b) The development and delivery of learning programmes through artists and organisations, involving the local community and schools to give the broadest access to arts and culture. (c) The provision of skills development and training aimed at increasing employability within the cultural and creative industries. (d) Encouraging and assisting creative people and organisations to fulfil their creative potential. (e) The development and delivery of a wide range of other projects, programmes and activities that facilitate maximum participation in, and exposure to, the arts, nature and culture (f) Stewardship and supporting the development of post-industrial spaces to create a vibrant ecosystem of arts, culture, and complementary small businesses, contributing to urban regeneration, community development and environmental sustainability.
