Celtic FC Foundation works to create opportunities for society’s most vulnerable and marginalised groups – principally, we address root causes of poverty by equipping individuals with the tools and means to reverse inequality. We raise funds through grant applications, hosting dinners and sponsored events to deliver projects ourselves or with selected partners. We hold an annual Christmas Appeal to raise funds to support families, pensioners, homeless and partner organisations provide support over the festive period.

Objectives: 4.1 the prevention or relief of poverty. 4.2 the advancement of education. 4.3 the advancement of citizenship or community development. 4.4 the advancement of public participation in sport. 4.5 the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. 4.6 the promotion of religious or racial harmony. 4.7 the promotion of equality and diversity. 4.8 the promotion of healthy living. 4.9 the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. and 4.10 the advancement of any of the above purposes or objects by the giving of grants or loans or the provision of credit or other forms of assistance, financial or otherwise, to persons undertaking projects, initiatives and/or activities which further any of the above purposes or objects and which are wholly charitable within the meaning of the Taxes Act and section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
