Borders Youth Theatre operates a year-round programme of youth theatre workshops arcross the Scottish Borders for children aged 8-25. They also deliver intensive youth theatre training, and produce public performances of scripted theatre during school holidays, again with young people aged 8-25.

Objectives: The purpose of the Borders Youth Theatre is to advance educational opportunity for young people in the Scottish Borders, particularly in literacy and linguistic skills, by providing opportunities through drama workshops and performance projects to work with professional tutors, artists and craftspeople.
