The farm's objects and principal activities are: leisure and recreation-promoting the benefit of all persons in the locality by providing facilities education and training-advancing environmental education and awareness and the provision of education and training for persons so as to prepare them for any trade, occupation or service.
Objects: To Promote The Benefit Of Those Living Or Working In The Meanwood Valley Leeds And The Adjacent Neighbourhoods Thereof Without Distinction Of Sex Or Of Political Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating The Local Authorities And/or Voluntary Organisations And Inhabitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For The Recreation And Other Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants And Particularly Of Those Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity, Or Disablement, Poverty, Or Social And Economic Circumstances.
