Activities

We serve as a mosque for the Muslim community. We also act as a centre for inter-faith education. Additionally, we provide facilities for the Islamic education of children and young people. We help to collect funds for various charity organisations. We work closely with Gravesham Borough Council and the police to increase their awareness of Islam. We provide regular outings and organised events.

Objects: (I) To Advance The Religion Of Islam By Providing Facilities For Prayer Gatherings And Religious Education For The Followers Of Islam Known As Muslims Living In The Area Of Gravesham & Dartford Uk.(ii) To Build A Mosque (Masjid) Or Mosques ( Masajids) Or Purchase Premises For The Adaption Thereto.(iii) To Build A Muslim Day Centre Or Community Centre Or Purchase Or Otherwise Acquire Premises For The Adaption Thereto To Provide Recreational And Religious Facilities For The Benefit Of Its Members And Wider Community .(Iv) Without Violation Of Islamic Principles To Hold And Promote Recreational, Cultural ,Religious Educational , Marriage Ceremonies And Welfare Functions And Activities .(V) To Help Facilitate Burial For The Deceased Members Free From Remuneration To Its Members ( Excluding The Cost Of Burial Space And External Costs ).(Vi) To Promote Good Relations With The Wider Community By Providing Facilities, Holding Seminars And Special Meetings To Educate The True Essence Of Islam As A Peaceful Religion.(vii) To Eradicate And Counter Extremist Views That Harm The Religion Of Islam.(viii) To So All Such Other Things As Are Incidental Or Conducive To The Attainment Of The Above Objects Or Any Of Them .(Ix) To Raise Funds For The Advancement Of The Above Aims And Objects .
