The main objective of the Association is to provide and maintain, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Churchdown and neighbourhood a Community Centre, in which the Management Committee's aim is to promote good facilities for arts and recreation, social and leisure time occupation, whilst recognising this must be at a reasonable cost.

Objects: (a) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Churchdown And Neighbourhood Without Distinction Of Sex Or Of Political , Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating The Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations And Inhabitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants.(b) To Establish A Community Centre (hereinafter Called "the Centre") And To Manage And Maintain Such A Centre For Activities Provided By The Association And Its Constituent Bodies In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.
