**Objects:** (A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF CHURCHDOWN AND NEIGHBOURHOOD WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL , RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.(B) TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY CENTRE (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE CENTRE") AND TO MANAGE AND MAINTAIN SUCH A CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROVIDED BY THE ASSOCIATION AND ITS CONSTITUENT BODIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.

**Activities:** The main objective of the Association is to provide and maintain, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Churchdown and neighbourhood a Community Centre, in which the Management Committee's aim is to promote good facilities for arts and recreation, social and leisure time occupation, whilst recognising this must be at a reasonable cost.
