The trustees invite applications for grants from any appropriate person or organisation as detailed in A8 but stress that they can only consider those which are for the benefit of the residents of the area of benefit (ie the town of Congleton (Cheshire) and the parishes of Astbury, Hulme Walfield, Eaton, North Rode, Bosley and Somerford).
Objects: 1. The Relief Of The Aged, Impotent And Poor Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit; 2. The Relief Of Distress And Sickness Among The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit; 3.the Provision And Support (with The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit In The Interests Of Social Wefare) Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure-Time Occupation; 4. The Provision And Support Of Educational Facilities For The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit; And 5. Any Other Charitable Purpose (whether Or Not Of A Nature Similar To Any Of Those Hereinbefore Specified) For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit.
