Activities
We maintain and equip the village Recreation Ground that serves a catchment population of around 1,000. It comprises a football pitch, multi-use games area, children's play area, cricket field and Grindleton Pavilion which houses a large community hall, smaller meeting room and changing rooms.Upkeep is funded by donations, fund-raising and hire income with grant application for capital projects.
Objects: To Provide, Equip, And Maintain A Recreation Ground For The Use Of The Inhabitants Generally Of Grindleton And The Neighbourhood Thereof For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation, With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.
