**Objects:** TO PROVIDE, EQUIP, AND MAINTAIN A RECREATION GROUND FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS GENERALLY OF GRINDLETON AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS.

**Activities:** We maintain and equip the village Recreation Ground that serves a catchment population of around 1,000. It comprises a football pitch, multi-use games area, children's play area, cricket field and Grindleton Pavilion which houses a large community hall, smaller meeting room and changing rooms.Upkeep is funded by donations, fund-raising and hire income with grant application for capital projects.
