now-u community is a CIO that provides a user-friendly mobile platform to match charities and voluntary organisations with prospective volunteers and supporters. The CIO curates charitable campaigns with actions and learning materials in partnership with charities to make it easier for everyone to learn about social and environmental issues and to take charitable action
Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Shall Be To Promote The Voluntary Sector For The Public Benefit, In Particular By Providing A User-Friendly Mobile Platform To Match Charities And Voluntary Organisations With Prospective Volunteers And Supporters.for The Purposes Of This Clause, ‘The Voluntary Sector’ Means Charities And Voluntary Organisations, Defined As Follows:charities Are Organisations, Which Are Established For Exclusively Charitable Purposes In Accordance With The Law Of England And Wales.voluntary Organisations Are Independent Organisations, Which Are Established For Purposes That Add Value To The Community As A Whole, Or A Significant Section Of The Community, And Which Are Not Permitted By Their Constitution To Make A Profit For Private Distribution. Voluntary Organisations Do Not Include Local Government Or Other Statutory Authorities.
