Para 1.20 | In its third financial year of operation, now-u community developed its volunteer team and ran several charitable campaigns covering a wide range of issues including equal access to sport, mental health, cancer awareness and marine wildlife conservation. Actions completed on the now-u app during this period included donating to charities, signing petitions and learning about charitable causes, supporting a wide variety of charities. We also collected feedback from our users on how we could enhance their experience with the platform and increase our charitable impact, and started work to address this feedback. |

Para 1.25 | In selecting individuals for appointment as charity trustees, the existing charity trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO. When a new trustee is needed, the volunteer team is informed and notices are posted on online platforms inviting applications. A rigorous screening and interview process is conducted by the existing trustees, who then vote to elect the most suitable candidate. Apart from the first trustees, every trustee must be appointed for a term of three years by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity trustees. |
