The charity provides a range of support to its service users including but not limited to, local and national support groups and conventions, provides support contacts to those affected who offer guidance and emotional support, management services where support workers assist in the management of the service user's care, offer counselling and bereavement support to those who have lost children due

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:the Relief Of Sickness And Distress And The Protection And Preservation Of The Health Of Persons Affected By Cmn And Their Families And Carers, In Particular, But Not Restricted To:(a) The Advancement Of The Education Of The Medical Profession And The General Public Into Cmn And Its Implications For The Family; And(b) The Promotion Of Research Into The Causes, Effects, Treatments And Management Of Cmn And To Disseminate The Useful Results Thereof.
