HPMC aims to advance education and support the prevention and relief of poverty in low and middle-income countries by making grants to other organisations.HPMC also aims to provide support in times of disaster and crisis anywhere in the world by making one-off payments.

Objects: The CIO Shall Further The Following Charitable Purposes As The Trustees See Fit From Time To Time:-(1)to Advance Education Form The Public Benefit By Providing Grants To Organisations That Support Education, Including But Not Limited To Health Education, In Low-Middle Income Countries;(2)to Relieve Poverty For The Public Benefit By Providing Grants To Organisations Working To Prevent Or Relieve Poverty In Low-Middle Income Countries; And (3)the Relief Of Financial Need And Suffering Among Victims Of Natural Or Other Kinds Of Disaster By Providing Grants To Organisations In The Form Of One-Off Payments To Support A Crisis Or Disaster Anywhere In The World.
