Activities
HIVE Portsmouth works in partnership with local people, groups and organisations to improve the well-being of people in Portsmouth. We support the development of voluntary and community groups, social enterprise, volunteering and social action. We provide information to guide people to the right support at the right time, enabling early intervention, independence and resilience.
Objects: 1.1 The Objects Of The Charity Are For The Public Benefit:1.1.1 To Relieve Poverty, To Advance Education, And To Relieve Need In Individuals Arising From Their Youth, Age Infirmity Or Disability, Financial Hardship Or Social Circumstances; And/or1.1.2 To Develop The Capacity And Skills Of The Members Of Communities In Portsmouth,hampshire And The Surrounding Areas That Are Socially Or Socially And Economically Disadvantaged In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify And Help Meet Their Needs And To Participate More Fully In Society; By Any Charitable Means As The Trustees From Time To Time Decide
