Activities

Bristol Gurmat Class hold weekly classes with young people and adults teaching the Gurmukhi language and Sikh Scripture. Gurmat Sangeet, a variation of Indian Classical Music is also propogated We hold local, national and virtual events for the advancement of the Sikh Religion and engage in interfaith work. We support other organisations with similar objectives and work on many social campaigns.

Objects: Advance The Sikh Religion In The United Kingdom But Especially In The South-West Of England And Wales For The Benefit Of The Public Through The Holding Of Prayer Meetings, Lectures, Public Celebration Of Religious Festivals, Producing And/or Distributing Literature To Enlighten Others About The Sikh Religion. The Benefit Of This Is To Provide The General Public With Knowledge On The Sikh Faith.activities Will Also Include: ·the Provision Of Education Of The Gurmukhi Language For People Of All Ages;·education On The Subject Of Sikh Scriptural Studies And Sikh Philosophy And·the Provision Of Training In Classical And Contemporary Indian Musical Arts In Accordance With The Teachings Of The Sikh Religion
