To manage all aspects of Kings Somborne Village Hall including the development of community access and use and to promote the use of the hall and its sports pavilion facilities.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) To Further Or Benefit The Inhabitants Of The Civil Parish Of King's Somborne And Surroundingareas, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Otheropinions By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary Andother Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In Theinterests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Ofimproving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.in Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power:to Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Village Hall/community Centre And To Maintain Ormanage Or Co-Operate With Any Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Ofsuch A Facility For Activities Promoted By The Charity In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.(2) To Advance Such Purposes As Are Charitable In Law For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Thecivil Parish Of King's Somborne And Surrounding Areas By The Making Of Grants To Charitiesand Voluntary Organisations.for The Purposes Of This Clause:charities Are Organisations, Which Are Established For Exclusively Charitable Purposes Inaccordance With The Law Of England And Wales.voluntary Organisations Are Independent Organisations, Which Are Established For Purposesthat Add Value To The Community As A Whole, Or A Significant Section Of The Community, Andwhich Are Not Permitted By Their Constitution To Make A Profit For Private Distribution. Voluntaryorganisations Do Not Include Local Government Or Other Statutory Authorities.
