Activities

We set up study groups through which we provide literacy training to pupils struggling to read and write in Nigeria, Liberia and Sierra Leone. We also make available culturally appropriate reading materials for the pupils in these countries. We also provide training to teachers on bespoke methods of teaching reading and writing skills.

Objects: To Advance The Education Of Children, Particularly Those In Africa Or Who Do Not Speak English As A First Language In The Subject Of Literacy, In Such Ways As The Trustees Shall Think Fit Including But Not Limited To Setting Up Literacy Programmes, Enhancing The Teaching Of English Language, Training Teachers To Enable Them To Better Teach Literacy And Collaborating With Other Charities, Bodies And Organisations As Appropriate To Promote Reading And Literacy.
