Working in partnership with patients and the scientific community we will:- Facilitate a support network for individuals and families- Be a conduit for high quality, accessible information- Raise the profile of Alport Syndrome- Contribute to the international research agenda- Collaborate on the development of a UK patient registry and alliance of international patient registries.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are The Relief Of Sickness And The Promotion Of Health Of Those People Suffering From Alport Syndrome, In Particular, But Not Exclusively By: (a) The Establishment And Facilitation Of A Support Network For Alport Syndrome Patients, Carriers, Their Families And Carers; (b) The Provision Of Information On Alport Syndrome; (c) The Support Of Research Into Alport Syndrome Both In The UK And Internationally;(d) The Support Of A Research Registry In The UK And An International Alliance Of National Registries.
