Activities

We provide day opportunities for older people including those living with memory loss and other health issues. We are open 5 days a week and 1 Saturday a month with up to 20 people a day attending. Our main aim is to help prevent social isolation and give family carers a break. We also provide an outreach service to promote physical and mental wellbeing and companionship.

Objects: The Promotion Of Social Inclusion Among Elderly People And People With Disabilities Living Within A 10 Mile Radius Of The City Of Wells Who Are Excluded From Society Because They Are House-Bound, Or Who Are Unable To Drive Or Easily Access Public Transport, By The Provision Of:1) A Transport Service To And From Recreational And Day Care Facilities Provided By The Charity; 2) Outings And Social Trips Including Transport To And From Home.
