Activities
Financial year 2016 to 2017 was a successful year for our charity as a modest growth in income received from our donors was achieved helping us fund various projects for those in need approaching us for assistance. Concerted efforts started at the end of 2013 to increase awareness of what we do as a Church especially around spiritual growth and charitable activities has continued to bear fruit.
Objects: The Objects.the Charity's Objects (The Objects) Are:(a) To Advance The Christian Faith For The Benefit Of The Public In Accordance With The Following Doctrines:paragraph 1 The Charity Recognizes The Lord Jesus Christ, The Son Of God, As The Head Of His Charity, And The New Testament As The Sole Authority In All Matters Pertaining To The Faith And To Religious Doctrine. The Charity Has, Under The Guidance Of The Holy Spirit, The Liberty To Interpret The Teachings Of The New Testament And To Administer The Spiritual Laws Of The New Testament.paragraph 2 Christian Baptisms Is The Immersion In Water Of A Believer, In The Name Of The Father, The Son And The Holy Spirit, To Show Forth In A Solemn And Beautiful Emblem One’s Faith In The Crucified, Buried And Risen Saviour. IT Is A Prerequisite To The Privileges Of The Charity Membership And To Participation In The Lord’s Supper.paragraph 3 The Lord’ Supper Is A Sacred Memorial In Which Members Of The Charity By Use Of The Elements Such As Bread And Wine Commemorate Together The Lord’s Death Until He Comesparagraph 4 IT Is The Duty Of Every Disciple To Bear Personal Witness To The Gospel Of Jesus Christ And To Take Part In The Evangelization Of The World.paragraph 5 Recognizing The Marriage Of One Man To One Woman As The Ideal State Of Family Life According To The New Testament, This Charity Places On Record Its Adherence Thereto.(b) "The Advancement Of The Christian Faith Mainly, But Not Exclusively, By Means Of Broadcasting Christian Messages Of An Evangelistic And Teaching Nature." C) To Advance The Christian Religion In The Whole World For The Benefit Of The Public Through The Holding Of Charity Services, Prayer Meetings, Lectures, Public Celebration Of Religious Festivals, Producing And/or Distributing Literature On Christian Faith To Enlighten Others About The Basis Of Our Religion. In The Pursuit Of This Purpose, We Earnestly Seek Both Individually And Collectively To Magnify And Glorify The Lord Jesus Christ, To Share Our Faith With Others Thus Encouraging Them To Accept Christ As Their Personal Saviour, And To Foster Spiritual Growth And Maturity For All Members.
