St John Apostolic Church

Chairman's report to December 2020

This has been a great and difficult year to the Charity as the Covid 19 set forth and communies found themselves in difficulty but through the hard work of trustees and volunteers within, the Charity managed to give in an incredible amount of me and money to raise an income of £88489.00 and a big thank you to them all. A community enty as ours relies heavily on the goodwill and generosity of the local communies we operate in and we are ever grateful for all of their support. A big thank you to the trustees and volunteers for their support which helped the Charity in meeng their obligaons.

The Charity had the busiest of years as we also took upon helping emoonally and financially local communies and communies in Zimbabwe get through the covid pandemic by supplying funds to buy all the required PPE. Most of funds collected went to support communies in Zimbabwe as most families in impoverished rural communies needed more support than the urban communies. The fact that our branches were all closed and volunteers were meeng virtually, it didn't deter our beloved volunteers in supporng financially for this cause.

There was also movement in raising of funds for our local project of buying our own building in the UK where we intend to support the needy and the homeless and our pot sits at £22580.00

There has been a delay in subming our financial report for 2020 and 2021 due to circumstances caused by the pandemic but looking ahead we will strive to complete the submission of the 2021 report in the near future. We connue to look forward receiving more volunteers so we can meet all obligaons. Myself being the new chairman has been brought in connue the good work and pick up from where the departed chairman le.
