To further the benefit of the residents of Birchover park and the neighbourhood, without distinctionof sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious, or other opinions by associating together thesaid residents, the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort toadvance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Further The Benefit Of The Residents Of Birchover Park And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious, Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents, The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Andleisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.in Furtherance Of These Objectives, But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power To Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain Or Manage Or Co-Operate With Any Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The Charity In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment(scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008]
