Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Are:-3.1 To Pursue Any Charitable Purpose, Primarily For The Benefit Of The Community In The Area Of Benefit, And In Particular3.2 To Own, Manage And Maintain Community Facilities For The Public At Large And/or Those Who, By Reasons Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances, Have Need For Such Facilities;3.3 To Advance Heritage Through Preserving For Public Benefit The Historical, Architectural And Constructional Heritage That Exists In And Around The Maltings;3.4 The Advancement Of The Education Of The Public By The Establishment And Maintenance Of A Museum And Heritage Centre For The Exhibition Of Artefacts Of Maritime Interest And Local And Natural History And Materials Relating Thereto As Defined By The Museum's Acquisition And Disposal Policy And Making The Collection Available For Research;3.5 To Promote Visual And Performing Arts For Public Benefit, The Promotion And Advancement Of Education And The Cultivation And Improvement Of Public Education In Drama, Mime, Opera, Singing, Music, Dance, Painting And Sculpture, Cinema, Literature And The Other Arts 3.6 To Develop And Encourage, Foster And Promote The Physical, Economic And Social Development And Regeneration Of The Area By Building Partnerships With Organisations With Similar Aims.
