Activities
BIGKID exists to equip young people at risk of social exclusion and youth violence to take control of their lives, find, develop and act on their own potential. We believe that behind every kid is something BIG and that with the right support we can put an end to youth violence and school exclusions.
Objects: 'To Act As A Resource For Young People Up To The Age Of 25 Years Living In London Byproviding Advice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Physical, Educational Andother Activities As A Means Of:(a) Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities Andcapabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsibleindividuals;(b) Advancing Education;(c) Relieving Unemployment;(d) Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare Forpeople Living In The Area Of Benefit Who Have Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Ordisability, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving Theconditions Of Life Of Such Persons.the Relief Of Financial Hardship, In Particular By Providing Educational Programmesdesigned To Advance People In Life.'
