Activities
For over 75 years we have been researching why species like the grey partridge, water vole, corn bunting and black grouse have declined. We are continually developing practical measures to reverse these declines.We are the only UK charity using science to promote game and wildlife management as an essential part of nature conservation.
Objects: 3.1 To Promote For The Public Benefit The Conservation Of Game And Its Associatedflora And Fauna;3.2 To Conduct Research Into Game And Wildlife Management (including The Use Ofgame Animals As A Natural Resource) And The Effects Of Farming And Other Landmanagement Practices On The Environment; And To Publish The Useful Results Ofsuch Research;3.3 To Advance The Education Of The Public And Those Managing The Countryside In Theeffects Of Farming And Management Of Land Which Is Sympathetic To Game Andother Wildlife;3.4 To Conserve Game And Wildlife For The Public Benefit Including:where IT Is For The Protection Of The Environment, The Conservation Or Promotionof Biological Biodiversity Through:3.4.1 The Provision, Conservation, Restoration Or Enhancement Of A Naturalhabitat; Or3.4.2 The Maintenance Or Recovery Of A Species In Its Natural Habitat On Landor In Water And In Particular Where The Natural Habitat Is Situated Inthe Vicinity Of A Landfill Site.
