Activities
CURE UK works to improve the accessibility and quality of paediatric surgical services in sub-Saharan Africa. We support CURE Children's Hospitals to provide free surgical services for children with treatable disabilities. We deliver surgical training for local medical practitioners and collaborate with pastors and leaders to prevent the abuse and neglect of children living with disabilities.
Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Are To Provide, For The Public Benefit, Particularly In Areas Of Low Income (i) Medical Treatment And Care For Infants, Children And Young Adults Suffering From Correctable, Disabling Conditions, Particularly By The Establishment, Maintenance, Management And/or Development Of Medical Facilities And Services, (ii) Care And Support For The Families And Carers Of Such Infants, Children And Young Adults, (iii) Appropriate Training For Medical Practitioners And (iv) Such Other Purposes As Are Charitable Under The Laws Of England And Wales Both Within The United Kingdom Of Great Britain And Northern Ireland And Elsewhere In The World, All Such Objects To Be Conducted In Accordance With The Ethos Of The Christian Faith.
