Friends of TREAD is occupied with fundraising for and the governance of various projects established in South India through TREAD India Trust. These projects support children, young people and their families through education and relief of poverty.

Objects: 1) To Relieve In Cases Of Need, Hardship Or Distress Persons Who Are Resident In The States Of Andhra Pradesh And Orissa In Southern India And To Establish And Maintain Orphanages Or Homes For Them2) To Further The Education (Including Social And Physical Training) Of Children And Young People Attending Schools And Hostels In The States Of Andhra Pradesh And Orissa In Southern In Southern India And To Found And Maintain Schools And Hostels Or Other Establishments For The Furtherance Of Education And To Found And Maintain Technical Training And Vocational Institutes And To Provide Financial Assistance Outfits Clothing Tools Instruments Or Books To Such Children And Young People On Leaving School Or Other Educational Establishment To Prepare Them For Or To Assist Their Entry Into Trade Profession Or Service3) To Reserve And Safeguard The Health Of All Persons In The States Of Andhra Pradesh And Orissa In Southern India And To Provide Necessary Medical Aid To Them And To Found And Maintain Medical Centres To Provide Necessary Medical Aid.
