Objects: (1) To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Persons Resident In The North West Of England Or The Neighbourhood Thereof Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Learning Disabilities, Or Their Social Or Economic Circumstances, With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life. (2) To Promote Any Charitable Purpose For The Benefit Of Persons In The North West Of England And The Neighbourhood Thereof, Who Have Learning Disabilities. (3) The Conduct Of Research Into All Aspects Of Learning Disabilties And The Optimum Care Of Such Persons With Such Disabilities And The Dissemination Of The Useful Results Of Such Research
