The CTA is a UK-wide charity providing leadership, learning and enterprise support to member organisations in civil society which deliver innovative and flexible transport solutions to achieve social change in their communities. We promote excellence through training, e-based resources, publications, advice, consultancy events and project support on voluntary, community & accessible transport.

Objects: The objects of the CIO are to relieve age, financial hardship, ill-health or disability by the provision of education and support to charitable bodies or persons who supply transport to groups or individuals in need of such relief. Nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the CIO for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and section 2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
