Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: (a) MMG is organized exclusively for advancement of arts, heritage and culture of state of Maharashtra from Republic of India. (b) MMG activities shall include the promotion of arts by reaching out to new audiences, increase public awareness, and encourage participation in the various art forms from Maharashtra. (c) MMG activities shall include preserving historical traditions such as carnivals, festivals and re-enactments of historically significant events of Maharashtra. (d) MMG activities shall include events that preserve, commemorate, and celebrate these cultural features like food, music, singing, dance, language and literature and fashion of Maharashtra. (e) MMG shall strive to pass the legacy of arts, culture and heritage of Maharashtra to the next generations.
