ViewCare Project is a non-profit service established by the Church in May 2016. The project is run by Church volunteers (from Viewpark Parish Church and other local churches) and one part time member of staff. The project provides an innovative approach to tackling poverty issues for those in need by providing a 'one-stop' shop approach. The Church has placed great emphasis on our mission of supporting people who are struggling, within North and South Lanarkshire, in any way we can and our service is fully utilised by multiple agencies across both council areas and individuals/families from our local area. We provide help for adults, children & pets. Many of those supported display a combination of significant challenges, including those experiencing homelessness, money management issues, health problems, and unemployment and also often have experienced difficulty in accessing mainstream support.

Objectives: the prevention or relief of poverty in Lanarkshire and surrounding areas in particular but not exclusively by providing emergency essentials and debt advice to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty. to provide services to those in need of them by reason of their age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by signposting them to additional support services. and to advance citizenship and community development through the provision of a volunteering programme that engages with and meets the needs of the community.
