OARC welcomes athletes of all ages and abilities from 9years upwards from the local community and provides them with opportunities to participate in running or athletics in Orkney. The Club promotes health within the community and has a focus on high standards of training and providing the chance to compete at a level that will allow athletes to reach their individual potential. OARC strives to be inclusive (by being welcoming, non-elitist members) and respectful. It aims to allow all athletes to reach their individual potential and encourages them to be dedicated and hard-working, with resilience and grit. Our team of volunteer coaches, officials and helpers will demonstrate an ethos of supportive team-work, equality and respect for all whilst ensuring all those participating have fun and enjoy their time at the club.
