ICF activities are: Fund management and grant-making. Income generation. External communications and relations. Grant-making in 2024-25 was through Inverclyde Windfarm Fund (IWF) which is a 10-year funding programme for voluntary organisations and community groups in Inverclyde. The fund started in 2021 and is delivered through a partnership between Inverclyde Renewables LLP and Inverclyde Community Fund SCIO. The fund provides grants to Inverclyde third sector organisations that apply for funding that focusses on 'making a difference' in Inverclyde. During the 2024-25 financial year, IWF received 64 applications and awarded 43 grants to 40 third sector organisations, with a total value of £61,720.

Objectives: 4 The organisation is established for charitable purposes only and in particular the purposes are: 4.1 To make grants to voluntary organisations that are based within the Inverclyde area and who are established not for profit distribution and have only charitable purposes. 4.2 To make grants to individuals based in the Inverclyde area for the purposes of providing relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or any other disadvantage.
