As per our charitable purposes, we aim to safeguard Jacobite heritage with a particular emphasis on the 1745 rebellion. The charity also aims to be a source of expert knowledge on the Jacobite period of history. In order to meet these aims, the charity holds an Annual Gathering with its AGM and this includes visits to a number of historical Jacobite sites including castles, estates and battlefields. The charity publishes a quarterly journal for its membership covering recent Jacobite research and publications and highlighting upcoming exhibitions and events. The charity maintains a number of Jacobite monuments across Scotland, holds a library of related books in the A K Bell Library in Perth and organises talks and other events throughout the year.

Objectives: 4 The organisation’s purposes are the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture and science through: 4.1 study of the Jacobite period of history. 4.2 recording and preserving the memory of those who actively participated in, or who had connections with the '45 Jacobite Rising. 4.3 marking appropriate sites. and 4.4 endeavouring to safeguard the Jacobite heritage.
