Jeanfield Swifts Community FC (Scio) is set up to encourage public participation in sport (football) and associated healthy activities to improve the physical, mental and social wellbeing of participants. It achieves this by registering teams with the Scottish Football Association and affiliated national associations (SYFA, SWF, WFS) to enable participation in grassroots youth, girls and women's leagues. It also organises programmes for older women (Walking Football) and asylum seekers (Welcome League). In bringing these disparate groups together it seeks to foster greater social cohesion and build a community.

Objectives: 1 The advancement of public participation in sport as players, coaches, officials and supporters, irrespective of age, race, religion and gender. 4.2 The advancement of health through the provision of activities that have proven benefits for wellbeing including, in addition to organised football training, healthy eating/nutrition classes, space for addiction support services and other physical and mental health services. 4.3 The advancement of community development through operating a Community Football club which makes a positive social impact on the community of North Perth and the wider City of Perth. 4.4 The advancement of education. 4.5 The prevention and relief of poverty. 4.6 The relief of unemployment.
