The charity owns and manages the woodlands on Gallow Hill, Moffat, for the enjoyment and benefit of the local community. The charity was largely dormant during the year ending March 2025 but now has a refreshed group of Trustees and has plans to greatly increase activity again this year.

Objectives: The company has been formed to benefit the community of Moffat and District [DG10 post code area] ('the Community'), and visitors thereto, with the following objects: 4.1 The advancement of community development, including the advancement of rural regeneration 4.2 The advancement of education 4.3 The advancement of citizenship 4.4 The advancement of environmental protection or improvement 4.5 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended
