The Trust runs the hall for the benefit of the DG10 community and we do this in a number of ways. We maintain and improve the building. We run three weekly clubs. one for people living in isolation/elderly, one for people with mental or physical illness and one for people with visual impairments. We run a community shop selling donated goods. Funds raised support our community work but we also give grants to local groups and donations in kind such as free use of the hall. We provide a twice weekly meals on wheels service and our volunteers run the customer facing element of the library in partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Council. We are the resilience centre for DG10. We hire out the hall for private events and fund raising events, but we also offer packages for parties, children's parties and weddings.
